Port Lifting

Port lifting operations have extremely high requirements for the wear resistance, fatigue resistance, and impact resistance of steel wire ropes. They are mainly used for the three core mechanisms of main lifting, slewing, and traction, and are responsible for vertical lifting of heavy objects, adjustment of boom pitch, trolley walking, and grab bucket opening and closing operations. They are key load-bearing components for port cargo loading, unloading, and handling.

Product Features:

6 × 19S+FC/IWRC: The most commonly used standard structure, with 6 strands and 19 steel wires per strand. The outer layer of steel wire is thicker and has excellent wear resistance, making it suitable for frequent lifting scenarios such as hooks and grab buckets. FC (fiber core) has good flexibility, while IWR (steel core) has higher strength and strong resistance to compression.

6 × 36WS+FC/IWRC: 6 strands, each with 36 steel wires, using a Seale-Warrington composite structure. The number of steel wires is large and the thickness is matched, with excellent fatigue resistance and impact resistance, suitable for the main lifting mechanism of large shore cranes and gantry cranes.

8 × 19S+FC/IWRC: 8 strands of 19 steel wires per strand, with a larger contact area, better wear resistance and anti rotation ability than the 6-strand structure, suitable for container cranes with high lifting height and fast lifting speed.

18 × 7+FC: Multi layer non rotating steel wire rope, composed of 18 thin steel wires with almost no rotational torque, suitable for single rope lifting and precise positioning of heavy objects, such as bulk cargo grab cranes.
