Product Features:

When a ship is moored, it will be subjected to multiple dynamic loads such as tides, waves, and currents. These types of steel wire ropes are usually twisted with high-strength galvanized steel wire, with a tensile strength of 1770MPa or more, and can withstand several tons or even tens of tons of tension, meeting the mooring needs of large ships.

2. Long term exposure to high salt spray and high humidity environments in the ocean, the surface of the steel wire rope will be hot-dip galvanized, or stainless steel material will be used, or the surface will be coated with plastic, which can effectively isolate the contact between seawater and the steel wire substrate, slow down the corrosion rate, and extend the service life

3. Adopting an interactive twisting structure, the anti twisting performance is stronger, avoiding the twisting and rolling of the steel wire rope caused by ship shaking during the mooring process, which affects the safety of use.

4. Fiber cores (such as PP) or steel cores will be added to the steel wire strands to ensure the flexibility of the steel wire rope, facilitate the retraction operation, and improve the overall structural stability, reducing deformation.
